Arrival and departure
Rooms are available from 4pm. Check out should be before 11am.
Parking
There is free parking for three medium size cars in the grounds. For any larger vehicles there is plenty of free, safe parking on Westfield Road (a no-through road).
Breakfast
A delicious Continental Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am. Exact time to be agreed on arrival.
Accessibility
The Lawns has a flat paved path from the parking area to the front door. There is a small step at the front door to enter the house. There are 5 stairs in the hall. All bedrooms are on the 1st floor up a stairway of 15 steps. There are then 5 more steps down to Bedroom 2 and 9 steps up to Bedroom 3.
Bookings
Bookings must be made on our website with a deposit for one night being made automatically. The balance is due on departure and can be made by cash, debit or credit card. We are unable to accept AMEX or Diners Club cards.
Bookings are subject to a minimum stay of two nights.
Tariffs
Nightly tariffs for both double and single occupancy are displayed on the rooms page and include our delicious Continental Breakfast and all taxes.
Cancellation policy
If cancellation occurs more than one week prior to the reservation, your deposit will be refunded to the card from which payment was made. Cancellation within seven days of arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited. We will endeavour to re-let the room(s) and if successful will refund your deposit.
No smoking or vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.
Other
Plates, cutlery and glasses are provided in the Breakfast Room for guests wishing to eat an evening takeaway. Food and alcohol is not permitted in any of the bedrooms.
No children under 18 unless agreed.
Unfortunately, no dogs or other pets are permitted to stay. There are no pets at The Lawns.
We are double covid vaccinated and expect anyone booking to be covid vaccinated. If you wish to book and have medical reasons not to have been vaccinated, then please contact us to explain the situation.
